History
What started as one girl’s fight for education has grown into a movement building legacies across Nigeria.

Dreams to Legacy Initiative (D2L) is a registered non-profit organization committed to transforming the lives of underserved children and youth across Nigeria. We do this by expanding access to quality education, mentorship, skill-building, and career development opportunities.
Our story began with one courageous girl, Damilola, who dreamed of becoming a pharmacist despite financial barriers. Her bold pursuit of purpose, backed by the compassionate support of friends and mentors, gave rise to the vision behind D2L: a movement that ensures no child has to choose between survival and their dreams.
Today, that single story has grown into a thriving community of support, purpose, and impact. At D2L, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, pursue their passion, and build a legacy that lasts.
We stand in the gap for forgotten or underserved youth—giving their dreams a voice and the wings to soar.
